Water Reducible Alkyds
EPS® 6208
EPS 6208 is a short oil, water reducible alkyd. EPS 6208 is designed to provide fast dry, high gloss and excellent hydrolytic stability. EPS 6208 can be crosslinked with melamine for baking finishes or used as an air dry vehicle. EPS 6208 must be neutralized with amine before the addition of water. Additional co-solvent, such as s-Butanol, can be beneficial for solubility and stability. .
EPS® 6230
EPS 6230 is a short oil, chain stopped, water reducible alkyd. EPS 6230 is designed to provide fast dry, high gloss, corrosion and humidity resistance. This balance of properties makes EPS 6230 an excellent choice for industrial primer and enamels. EPS 6230 must be neutralized with amine before the addition of water, additional co-solvent is recommended for the best solubility and stability.
EPS® 6251
EPS 6251 is a short oil, chain stopped, water reducible alkyd. EPS 6251 is designed to provide fast dry, high gloss, excellent corrosion resistance and water resistance. This balance of properties makes EPS 6251 an excellent choice for industrial primer and enamels. EPS 6251 must be neutralized with amine before the addition of water, additional co-solvent is recommended for the best solubility and stability.
EPS® 6261
EPS 6261 is a short oil, chain stopped, water-reducible alkyd designed to provide very fast dry and high gloss, as well as excellent corrosion and early water resistance. EPS 6261 is an excellent choice for both Industrial primers and topcoats. EPS 6261 must be neutralized with amine before the addition of water, and additional solvent is recommended for best solubility and long-term package stability. EPS 6261 can also be crosslinked for use in baking finishes.
EPS® 6264
EPS 6264 is a short oil, chain stopped, water reducible alkyd designed to provide fast dry, high gloss, corrosion and water resistance. This balance of properties makes EPS 6264 an excellent choice for both Industrial primers and topcoats. EPS 6264 must be neutralized with amine before the addition of water, and additional co-solvent is recommended for best solubility and long-term package stability. EPS 6264 can also be crosslinked with melamine for use in baking finishes, or be used as an air-dry vehicle.
EPS® 6274
EPS 6274 is a short oil, chain stopped, water reducible alkyd. EPS 6274 is designed to provide fast dry, gloss, corrosion and humidity resistance. This balance of properties makes EPS 6274 an excellent choice for industrial primer and enamels. EPS 6274 must be neutralized with amine before the addition of water, additional co-solvent is recommended for the best solubility and stability. It is a lower viscosity version of EPS 6230.
EPS® 6276
EPS 6276 is a short oil, chain stopped, water reducible alkyd. EPS 6276 is designed to provide fast dry, high gloss, corrosion and water resistance. This balance of properties makes EPS 6276 and excellent choice for industrial primers and enamels. EPS 6276 must be neutralized with amine before the addition of water, additional co-solvent is recommended for the best solubility and stability. EPS 6276 is a straight Butyl Cellosolve version of EPS 6251.
